St. Peter's Cathedral is a medieval marvel, a well-preserved remnant of Germany's Middle Ages. The cathedral's stunning Gothic spires are visible from the glittering Danube and throughout the old town square.

Regensburg is unique in that its public transportation is exclusively on buses. Purchase a day ticket and look for the modern, yellow-colored buses. Bicycle rentals are also available. Taxis are another option, but they are much more expensive than going by bus.
